Careers
At Tidal Living, we help older adults stay in the homes they love, supported by a close‑knit team who lead with kindness, reliability and respect. Join us and turn your compassion into a rewarding career.

Why join us?
- Competitive pay: At Tidal Living, we offer a competitive wage of £13–£15 per hour for our care workers alongside paid travel time.
- Time to care: At Tidal Living, every client visit is scheduled for a minimum of one full hour.
- This gives you the breathing space to have a conversation with clients, listen to them and build genuine relationships which shorter “pop-in” calls simply cannot match.
- Training on us: At Tidal Living, we provide all new employees with paid training where you complete the Care Certificate.
- We at Tidal Living will fund your progression all the way through to NVQ Level 2 or 3 in Health & Social Care allowing you to continuously develop your skills and boost your pay.
- Career ladder: We provide and map out for you a clear pathway, for you to step up from Carer to Senior Carer, move into a Care Coordinator role and ultimately become a Deputy Manager, each stage being guided by tailored training and support so you know what next steps to take in your career journey.
- Employee Rights: We meet all statutory requirements, including 28 days’ leave per year, statutory sick pay (£118.75/week) and automatic employee pension contributions, via autoenrolment. We also provide rest breaks and working-time protections, in keeping with our legal requirements under the Working Time Regulations.
- Clinical supervision: Regular reflective sessions with a registered psychotherapist specialising in dementia, so you deepen your understanding of behavioural and mental-health aspects and deliver confident, compassionate care.
